The Annunciation with Saint Emidius painted by Italian painter Carlo Crivelli in 1486 depicts the angel Gabriel giving informing Mary about the nativity of Jesus Christ.

Some people claim that the golden halo in the sky is a UFO.

But art specialists say that the cloud in the sky is a group of angels. The halo and the light symbolize the holy ghost approaching Mary.

2. Ume No Chiri (1844)

This painting depicts an unidentified object that's being dragged along the coasts of Hitachi, Japan in 1803. Some researchers say that the object symbolizes a UFO like entity that sailors found while they were out at sea.

This object is talked about in three Japanese texts, 'Toen Shosetsu' (1825) 'Hyoryu kishu' (1835) and 'Ume-no-chiri' (1844). According to these texts, the object was made out of glass and steel and had enough room for one man to fit in.

The mystery surrounding this object still remains...

3. "Glorification of the Eucharist" (1600)

This piece was created by Italian artist Ventura Salimbeni in the 17th century. It depicts God and Jesus Christ looking down on their kingdom.

Some people claim that the circular object between them is very similar to the Russian satellite Sputnik.

4. "Saint Wolfgang and the Devil" (1475)

This painting was created by Austrian artist Michael Pacher and is based on the myth that St. Wolfgang forced  the Devil to help him build a church.

St. Wolfgang lived in the 10th century,  the bishop of Bavaria Regensburg area. Some people claim it's not the Devil that is depicted in the painting, but an extraterrestrial being.

Others say that's a bold claim, as the Devil has been depicted in many forms throughout the centuries.

5. "The Baptism of Christ" (1710)

'The Baptism of Christ' was painted by Dutch painter Aert De Gelder in the 18th century.

Ufologists claim that the disc illuminating light above Jesus and John the Baptist is a UFO. These ufologists also claim that this painting is the most interesting and important piece of proof that proves the existence of UFOs.

Art historians explain the painting with a passage in the bible: 'the heavens opened, and the Spirit Descended On Christ Like A Dove.'

6. Nazca Lines (Peru)

The Nazca People, who inhabited Peru, carved giant geoglyphs in the Nazca Desert between the 1st and 6th centuries. There are many theories about these geoglyphs; some people claim that they symbolize extraterrestrials.

Others claim that they were created to portray messages to aliens. The general consensus is that the Nazca People created them as representations of heavenly shapes.

The Nazca Lines were first discovered in 1939 when a pilot flew over them. They were added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1994.

Built in 1339 in Metohija (Southwest of Kosovo), the Visoki Decani has a very interesting painting inside it called 'the Crucifixion of Christ.'

Taking a closer look, we are confronted with spaceship-like structures that look like something out of a sci-fi flick.
