1. Having trouble building relationships with other people and being like them, or having difficulties fitting into the norms of society will make you feel like you're not one of them.

2. Not being able to feel attached to anyone or anywhere is something you quite often go through.

3. If you don’t feel depressed or withdraw yourself, it's only because you have a lot of self respect and mindfulness.

4. Being treated as "depressed," often by other people, bothers you. You are only "melancholic," and you can’t be asked to tell the difference.

22. As Victor Hugo once said; "Melancholy is the happiness of being sad." You are happy with your sadness.

23. And finally, the moments you turn to in your inner world are both the most beautiful and the weightiest.

It's beautiful because there isn’t anyone else who could understand you better than yourself. It is weighty because questioning and blaming yourself and falling into the brown studies drive you to impasses.
