According to a report by Graphite, artificial intelligence briefly surpassed human-written content in November 2024, but since then, a balanced picture has emerged between the two.
A second report suggests that content farms may have started to notice that content generated by artificial intelligence is no longer prioritized by search engines and chatbots. The data supports this: 86% of articles listed on Google Search are written by humans, while only 14% are produced by artificial intelligence. Similarly, 82% of articles referenced by chatbots like ChatGPT and Perplexity are human-made, with the remaining 18% being products of artificial intelligence. Moreover, even if articles generated by artificial intelligence are featured on Google, they generally rank behind content written by humans. So, how much longer will this situation continue, especially in these days when companies are pouring billions of dollars into their artificial intelligence technologies?
