Akcakese Village is located between Şile and Ağva. It is approximately 60 kilometres from Istanbul and only 17 kilometres from the centre of Şile.

To reach the village, you must first go to Şile. Then, you can continue on your way by heading towards Ağva. This route is a single-lane, two-way road.

After passing Kabakoz, turn left at the Kandıra sign and continue towards Akcakese. This road will take you directly to Akcakese Village and the beach.

If you do not have a private vehicle and are considering coming from Istanbul by public transportation, you can use the following İETT lines:

  • 139A Üsküdar – Şile/Ağva

  • 139T Tepeüstü – Şile

Once you reach the centre of Şile, you can use the minibuses operating between Şile and Ağva to reach Akcakese Village.
