Anatomy of a Scandal: Release Date, Cast, Trailers, And What We Know So Far

'Anatomy of a Scandal,' a Netflix anthology drama series created by David E. Kelley and Melissa James Gibson, is set to premiere in 2018. It is based on Sarah Vaughan's novel of the same name. Various scandals involving the United Kingdom's elite class will be depicted in a series.

‘Anatomy of a Scandal’ will be released on Netflix on  April 15th 2022 at 8am GMT. The series will consist of six episodes.

In’ Anatomy of a Scandal’, a married Westminster politician, James (Friend), is accused of raping his aide, Olivia. His wife Sophie (Miller) is convinced of her husband's innocence, but prosecutor Kate (Dockery) is equally convinced that he's guilty of the crime.

‘Anatomy of a Scandal’ main cast includes Sienna Miller as Sophie Whitehouse, an Oxford graduate and happily married mother of two.

Michelle Dockery as Kate Woodcroft, QC, a steely criminal barrister specializing in prosecuting sexual crimes - and she's now handling the high-profile case involving James Whitehouse.

S.J. Abrams was announced as the series' director in May 2020. Clarkson is a well-known actor (Succession, Jessica Jones).

For the six-part Netflix adaptation of the series, David E Kelley (Big Little Lies) and former House Of Cards showrunner Melissa James Gibson have teamed up.
