‘Animaniacs’ Season Three Serves its End At Hulu: What’s the Finale?

Fans of Hulu can finally enjoy one last lap of hijinks courtesy of the third season of Animaniacs.

The series is an animated musical and sketch comedy developed by Steven Spielberg and Wellesley Wild, acting as a revival of Tom Ruegger’s 1990s animated TV series of the same title.

Animaniacs was officially announced by Hulu in January 2018, incorporating the broadcast rights of other related projects such as Pinky and the Brain, Tiny Toon Adventures, and Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain.

The TV series’ past two seasons have scored a 90% average Tomatometer on Rotten Tomatoes (with a 76% average audience score), 7.8/10 stars on IMDb, and 3/5 stars on Common Sense Media.

Hulu renewed the show for its third season on February 2021, ahead of its season two’s launch.

Animaniacs focuses on the adventures of Dot, Wakko, and Yakko, the inseparable and easily-angered Warner siblings from the original Animaniacs. After approximately 22 years of hiding from our eyes, the triad will embark on its usual chaos as it strives to adjust to the 21st century.

The thirteen episodes of the third season will bring new songs, parodies, and laughs as new friends Cindy and Starbox, join the Warner siblings in the show.

Hulu released the trailer for Animaniacs season three not so long ago via its main YouTube Channel.

The trailer prepares you for plenty of hijinks with a glimpse of what Dot, Wakko, and Yakko will be up to in season three.

It doesn’t forget Cindy and Starbox, who also appear to have a lot for themselves and the crew.

Besides developing the series, Spielberg and Wild chiefly produce Animaniacs alongside Gabe Swarr, Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, and Sam Register.

Joann Estoesta produced the series, while Ruegger and Richard Stone composed the theme music.

Animaniacs is a co-production of Warner Bros. Animation and Amblin Television for Hulu.

The third season of Animaniacs brings back the voices of their original characters from the 90s, including Jess Harnell as Wakko, Rob Paulsen as Yakko, and Tress MacNeille as Dot.

Stephanie Escajeda, Frank Welker, and Maurice LaMarche voice Nora, Chicken Boo, and the Brain, respectively.

The third and last season of Animaniacs will premiere on Friday, February 17, 2023, with approximately thirteen episodes, as witnessed in its pacesetters.

The series’ official Twitter page, created in September 2020, has been actively engaging its followers and praising the characters through tweets, posters, poll questions, GIFs, and video clips ahead of season three’s premiere.
