It has been disclosed that former President of the United States, Barack Obama, declined an offered role in the Netflix series titled 'The Three-Body Problem.' Dive into the details below to learn more about this intriguing revelation!

David Benioff and D.B. Weiss took a rather interesting step for their new series titled "The Three-Body Problem."

The series, adapted from Liu Cixin's novel of the same name, revolves around the world facing an alien invasion.

Unhesitant to explore any avenue for their project, the duo offered former U.S. President Barack Obama a role in a small scene in the series.

In a note sent to them, Obama humorously remarked, "If there's a real alien invasion, I guess I should hide myself in that crisis."

Obama's interest in "The Three-Body Problem" is not new. In a 2017 interview with The New York Times, he mentioned being a big fan of the novel and finding reading it highly enjoyable.

"The Three-Body Problem," one of Benioff and Weiss's major projects, comes after the huge success of the "Game of Thrones" series aired on HBO.

Since the conclusion of Game of Thrones in 2019, the duo has been in the spotlight with their new projects. The series narrates the story of five characters battling against aliens attempting to invade the world.
