The platform’s most recent piece is Baymax!, a spinoff series from 2014’s Big Hero 6. The parent series received massive reviews and critics worldwide, motivating it to produce two sequels and now a series.
Baymax! follows a tale about a robot and his escapades away from doing superhero stuff but working as a doctor in San Fransokyo. When Hiroto, the robot’s creator, dies, Hamada inherits it and becomes part of the superhero crew.
Baymax is a ballon robot that can detect any illness and respond accordingly. The only time Baymax will leave a victim’s side is when they are fully satisfied by his services. Imagine a life with Baymax responsible for our healthcare, wonderful, right?
Don Hall created the series with Mark Kennedy, Dan Abraham, Lissa Treiman, and Dean Wellins as the directors. Jennifer Lee and Don Hall are the chief producers, alongside Bradford Simonsen and Roy Conli as the producers. Walt Disney Animation Studios is the production company behind Baymax’s success.
Your cast for the show includes Maya Rudolph of Saturday Night Live and Grown-Ups portraying Aunt Cass and Scott Adsit of 30 Rock playing Baymax. Other characters are Jaboukie Y-White, Zeno Robinson, Lilimar, Emily Kuroda, and Ryan Potter.
