Ibrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, the President of the Turkish Football Federation, has made statements regarding a betting scandal in football, following which the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation. The Prosecutor's Office announced a few days ago that arrest warrants had been issued for 21 individuals. According to allegations, after the referees, it's now the footballers' turn in the betting scandal. As part of the investigation, which also involves Interpol, statements will be taken from 600 footballers in relation to the betting issue.
