Some individuals became one of the main victims of conspiracy theories that gained momentum during the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, prompting people to stay at home.

Business magnate Bill Gates, one of the co-founders of Microsoft, responded to theories surrounding him in a podcast appearance.

Gates, among the world's wealthiest individuals, had been confronted with conspiracy theories such as 'initiating the Covid-19 pandemic' and 'implanting microchips in people with vaccines produced for the pandemic.'

Responding to these theories in the podcasts he participated in, Gates expressed finding the situation amusing and stated,

'In general, I have nothing to complain about. But sometimes when I walk on the street, someone comes up and this has happened to me a few times. They accused me of profiting from Covid-19 and claimed that I was tracking them.'

Regarding the incident he experienced, Gates used the phrase, 'Why should I be concerned about where you are?' and said, 'So, is this really how I spend my time? Tracking you.'
