Synopsis

Our Story (Bizim Hikaye) is a Turkish adaptation of the popular American series Shameless, which follows the challenging life of Filiz (played by Hazal Kaya). With her mother absent, Filiz takes on the responsibility of caring for her five siblings. She sacrifices her education and works multiple low-skilled jobs to support her family financially. Balancing household chores, nocturnal work shifts, and the emotional burden of raising her siblings, Filiz faces additional struggles with her alcoholic father, Fikri (portrayed by Reha Ozcan), who offers little support and indulges in selfish behavior.

Filiz becomes both a mother and father figure to her siblings, including Rahmet (Yagizcan Konyali), the clever eldest son who tutors to contribute financially, and Hikmet (Nejat Uygur), the middle son who works at a grocery store and secretly harbors feelings for his boss's wife.
