‘Black Knight’: Another K-Drama To Add To Your Bucket List Of Netflix Favorites Will Arrive Soon!

Netflix has unleashed the coming of “Black Knight,” another Korean drama that will definitely swoon the viewers with excitement. The streaming giant has now confirmed that it is already heading into production and will soon be available on the streaming platform.

Starring Kim woo-bin, Kang you-seok and E Som, “Black Knight” is a futuristic series, and based on the popular webtoon of the same title.

“Black Knight” is set in 2071, when the world is badly suffering from air pollution. Only 1% of the human race has survived and people depend on respirator masks to breathe. Subsequent to this, a strict social stratification has been established in the deserted lands of the Korean peninsula.

Amid such chaos, “Black Knight” centers on a group of delivery riders who wield their trade in a hazardous world. Delivery drivers play a crucial role within this system, and for refugees, becoming a delivery driver is their only hope for survival.

Kim Woo-bin is set to play ‘5-8’, the delivery driver who also has exceptional battle skills. Kim Woo Bin has held the attention of the viewers in films such as Master, Twenty, and The Con Artists and in dramas such as Uncontrollably Fond and Inheritors.

E Som plays Seolah, a military officer at the Defence Intelligence Command. Seolah saves Sawol’s life and cares for him like her own family. E Som’s acting caliber has been proven for her transformative performances in the films Samjin Company English Class, Inseparable Bros, Microhabitat, and the drama Taxi Driver.

This will be a reunion project for Kim Woo-bin and director Choi Ui-seok after they worked together in the 2016 Korean film “Master.”
