Blow to Cartoon Network Fans as the Long-Awaited Debut of ‘Summer Camp Island’ Season 6 is Pushed to 2023

It's a dark time for young followers of the Cartoon Network animated series Summer Camp Island knowing that the show's sixth and final season will not be released on Thursday, June 9 2022 as promised last year. The debut will further be delayed to 2023. 

However, all isn't lost, as the audience in the United Kingdom will still get to enjoy the final episodes, with season 6 scheduled to air on June 13 2022, on Cartoon Network, in the region.

The animated show depicts the adventures of Oscar and Hedgehog at an infamous summer camp.

Season 6 will be the last time we get to hear the outstanding voice cast behind our favorite characters in their epic world. Antonio Raul Corbo reprises his role as Oscar Peltzer, while Oona Laurence returns as Hedgehog. 

Other likeable returns include Julia Pott portraying Susie McCallister, Poppy DeAbaitua voicing Susie’s younger self, and Charlyne Yi voicing Alice Fefferman, Susie's right-hand woman and an anthropomorphic woolly mammoth. Ramone Hamilton voices Max, the anthropomorphic bat, while Nikki Castillo portrays Betsy Spellman, camp counsellor and an anthropomorphic horse.

The sixth season of the beloved kids' show will launch with 20 episodes. Here's what we know so far about the upcoming episodes:

• Episode 1: The Legs – premiering on June 13 2022, in the U.K. 

• Episode 2: If I Only Had a Wand- premiering on June 14 2022, in the U.K. 

• Episode 3: Sees Bees? Gee! Bees! – premiering on June 15 2022, in the U.K. 

• Episode 4: Pepper's Funeral – premiering on June 16 2022, in the U.K. 

• Episode 5: The Hits- premiering on June 17 2022, in the U.K. 

• Episode 6: Miracle Rabbit- premiering on June 18 2022, in the U.K. 

• Episode 7: The Three Grrs- premiering on June 19 2022, in the U.K.

• Episode 8: Go Get Our Girls – premiering on June 20 in the U.K.

• Episode 9: Storybook Susie – premiering on June 21 in the U.K.
