Summary: In The 400 Blows, Antoine, a 12-year-old living in Paris in the early 1950s, cannot find peace either at school or at home due to problems with his family and frequent humiliation by his teacher. One day, after skipping school with his friend, Antoine sees his mother with another man on the street, creating shock. When he returns to school without overcoming the shock, he lies that his mother died as an excuse for not doing his homework. When his parents come to school in good health, the truth comes out, and Antoine receives a temporary suspension. Now scared to go home because he is afraid of his family, Antoine decides to run away to the seaside with his close friend. The goal is to steal his father's typewriter and sell it to make money. However, things don't go as planned...
