While Treyarch has announced the release of Zombies for Call of Duty: Vanguard, they have also confirmed that the original Jungle map from 2010’s Call of Duty: Black Ops would be included in Cold War.
The Black Ops Jungle map is a large multiplayer map set in the Vietnamese jungle. A military base and an abandoned village are featured on the map. Since there are many corners on the map where players can set up ambushes, the map is well-suited for close-quarter combat. Snipers can also set up in the village area of the map, which allows for long-range combat.
The March update to Black Ops - Cold War also added a new assault rifle, the Vargo 52, which is a gun originally from Warzone, as well as the remastered WMD map.
In addition to the new Jungle map, two new weapons will be released for both Warzone and Zombies. New blueprints, operator skins, cosmetics, and finishing moves will also be available in store bundles with the update.
Sadly, Black Ops - Cold War isn’t getting any upcoming Zombie maps, but Treyarch plans to include several tweaks to Outbreak and Onslaught that’s coming with the Call of Duty Season 3 update for both Vanguard and Warzone.
Call of Duty Season 3 will be released on April 27th, bringing major updates as well as a brand new battle pass for Vanguard and Warzone. According to Treyarch's blog, the Zombies arriving for Vanguard will have the same round-based mode as the other Black Ops Zombies games.
