Chinese Fantasy Film ‘Warriors of Future’ Covering Global Warming & Environmental Degradation Gets Netflix Launch Date

The holiday is here, and Netflix knows what to do with their fans’ cravings for sci-fi action movies. 

The streamer recently revealed an addition to the category, Warriors of Future, joining its fellows such as Oxygen, The Mitchells vs. The Machines, and The Old Guard. Ng Yuen Fai directed the upcoming Netflix project.

Set in future Hong Kong, Warriors of Future presents the concept of humanity, global warming, environmental pollution, and the mission to restore everything. The world is hit by a substantial destructive object, which brings along an alien plant, Pandora. 

Although Pandora brings massive destruction, it is equally beneficial in cleansing the atmosphere of pollution and global warming. The Warriors are in a dilemma between saving their beloved town and benefitting from Pandora’s godly side.

Several YouTube Channels have unveiled the official trailer and teaser for the upcoming Netflix film. The trailer presents glimpses of the events that will take place in the entire film, leaving everyone more eager for D-day. 

We see how the monstrous plant invades planet earth with destructive forces and energy. The warriors dive deep into trying to exterminate the plant with their high-tech machines and gadgets. Who will win the battle of the century?

Warriors of Future is directed by Ng Yuen Fai, alongside Jacqueline Liu and Louis Koo as the producers. 

Tin Shu Mak, Chi-Leung Law, and Ho-Leung Lau wrote the movie. One Cool Group Limited is the production company behind the film’s success.

The above crew incorporated various talents into Warriors of Future, including Louis Koo playing Tai Loi, Carina Lau portraying Tam Bing, Sean Lau, Phillip Keung impersonating Skunk, Nick Cheung depicting Lee Sing, and Tse Kwan-ho. 

Other characters include Ching Wan Lau as Cheng Chung-Sang, Xiaoxia Cheng as Pan Pan, and Guopeng Wan as Kwong.

Warriors of Future will land exclusively on Netflix on Friday, December 2nd. The film will run for 1 hour and 50 minutes.
