Counting Hours to the Premiere of Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds’ Christmas Movie ‘Spirited’

We are counting the hours until the highly anticipated exciting Christmas film Spirited is released in U.S. theaters.

You can always count on Will Ferrell to enliven every Christmas, and he has a special knack for holiday-themed movies, previously starring in the classic Christmas hit Elf (2003) as the cheery and oblivious Buddy and Daddy’s Home (2017).

This year Ferrell is pairing up with Ryan Reynolds for the light-hearted musical film Spirited, which is a modern version of Charles Dickens' 1843 novella A Christmas Carol.

Every 24th December, The Ghost of Christmas Present picks an evil soul for redemption through visitation from a spirit trio. But this Christmas, he wrongfully selects Scrooge. Present finds himself questioning his past, present and future when Clint Briggs switches things around.

It will be fun, sprightly and deliriously haunting!

Directed by Sean Anders and crafted and produced by Anders and John Morris, Spirited tells the story of A Christmas Carol but from the viewpoint of the ghosts, giving the tale a hilarious and musical twist.

The other producers are George Dewey and Ryan Reynolds of Maximum Effort, Will Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum of Gloria Sanchez Productions and David Koplan.

Comedy legend Will Ferrell plays The Ghost of Christmas Present while Ryan Reynolds plays Clint Briggs. Nico Tirozzui portrays 8-year-old Clint, and Thomas P. Gillis as future Clint.

The other stars featured in the film include Octavia Spencer as Kimberly, Sunita Mani as The Ghost of Christmas Past, Rose Byrne as Karen, Gavin Maddox Bergman as Oliver Twist, P.J. Byrne as Mr Alteli, Loren G. Woods as The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come and Tracey Morgan voicing Yet to Come.

We also have Patrick Page as Jacob Marley, Aimee Carrero as Nora, Joe Tippett as Owen, Andrea Anders as Carrie and Jen Tullock as Wendy.
