The highly anticipated Gladiator 2, starring Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, and Denzel Washington, is just hours away from release.

In this 2024 blockbuster, audiences will witness plenty of action scenes, brutal battles, and epic heroism in the Colosseum. However, some scenes from the film have been cut.

According to a report by Gayety, a scene where Denzel Washington, who plays a ruthless Roman commissioner named Macrinus driven by power and ambition, kisses another man was removed from the film.

In a statement, Denzel Washington said,

'In the film, I kissed a man on the lips, but they cut the scene. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed. We've already heard about the cut kiss between Pedro Pascal and Paul Mescal, and now this? I guess they're not ready for it. About five minutes after that kiss, I killed him. It was a death kiss.'
