According to a survey conducted by a local media organisation, 10 peaceful districts were selected from all over Turkey that stand out for their calmness, nature, and quality of life. 1. Şile (Istanbul) Görseli — A breath of fresh air on the shores of the Black Sea, just an hour away from the crowds of Istanbul, is Şile. Located in the north of the Anatolian side, the district is one of Istanbul's most peaceful escape routes, thanks to its lush forests, long coastline, historic lighthouse, and natural ponds. Although it attracts attention with its beaches during the summer months, it takes on a much calmer and more pleasant atmosphere for nature walks, camping, and photography enthusiasts in spring and fall. Local handicrafts, such as Şile Cloth, also add cultural depth to the district.

2.
