Disney+ Brings the off-Broadway film ‘Trevor: The Musical’: Find Out The Premiere Date and More

Summer is here, and Disney+ got our movie desires all covered with its back-to-back accomplishments. 

The streaming network just revealed that Trevor: The Musical is scheduled to launch on the platform this June.

The musical follows Trevor, a teenager, on his roller-coaster self-discovery journey. After facing embarrassment at school, Trevor is forced to gather the courage to forge and pursue a personal path in life. 

The film is based on Trevor, a 1995 Academy-Award champion film that influenced The Trevor Project, the number one mental health association for LGBTQ youth and suicide prevention.

Your cast for the show includes Holden W. Hagelberger portraying Trevor, Jarrod Zimmerman, Aeriel Williams, Sally Wilfert, Yasmeen Suleiman, Aryan Simhadri, Dan Rosales, Echo D. Picone, Isabel Medina, Alyssa E. Marvin, Diego Lucano, and Brigg Liberman.

Other characters are Colin Konstanty, Ellie Kim, Tyler J. Gay, Sammy Dell, Ava Briglia, Aaron Alcaraz, and Mark Aguirre.

The film features music by Julianne W. Davis and Dan Collins’ book and lyrics. Marc Bruni directs the musical with Josh Prince on the choreography. 

Mark Woods, Josie Bray, John Ambrosino, and Roy Furman are the Off-Broadway producers, with Robin M. Abrams as the director. 

Trevor: The Musical is chiefly produced by Jonathan Meyers, Meredith Bennett, Dave Sirulnick, and Jon Kamen.
