What makes fans even more anxious is that Disney+ has already revealed they will be returning for a fourth installment.
The Wildcats will be going to Shallow Lake Camp in California, where they will be doing a ‘Frozen’ performance to be recorded for Disney+ documentaries. Relocating the setting to the summer camp has offered the film a new makeover.
The pandemic affected the second installment’s end as everything had to be reconstructed, causing a dull ending. This third season has everything planned, which is why some of the events are filmed outdoors.
This third season will see the team enjoying a romance-filled summer, with great outdoors and the taste of curfew-less nights.
Shifting to the camp also means rejuvenating the characters, with several initial members like Seb and Red missing. In contrast, others including Nini and Miss Jen are given descriptions of being absent from the camp. Several new faces exist in the series, including Meg Donnelly of Zombies.
Other usual characters include Kate Reinders of While You Were Sleeping, Joe Serafini, Frankie A. Rodriguez of Modern Family, Mark St. Cyr of Doomsday, Julia Lester of Prince of Peoria, Dara Reneé of Freaky Friday, and Larry Saperstein.
Stuck in the Middle’s, Joshua Bassett, Matt Cornett of Bella and the Bulldogs, Sofia Wylie of Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, Dawn, and Olivia Rodrigo as Nini are also in the series.
Corbin Blue, Jason Earles, Miley Cyrus, Jojo Siwa, and Jesse T. Ferguson appear in the series.
High School Musical: The Musical: The series was penned by Kovasciar Myvett, Lyrica Anderson, and Toby Gad, with Alana Da Fonseca as the producer and Zach Woodlee, the choreographer. The series was created and run by Tim Federle.
You can get the series’ playlist on several popular music platforms such as YouTube Music, Apple Music, and Spotify.
The third season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series launches on Wednesday, July 27th, exclusively on Disney+. Unlike the previous two seasons, which had ten and twelve episodes, HSMTMTS has eight episodes following a weekly-release format.
Disney Plus has provided an official trailer via its primary YouTube Channel for more descriptions. The first and second seasons are also available for streaming on the above platform.
