Disney+ Unceremoniously Scraps Off Netflix From Marvel Productions

You may or may not have noticed by now that Netflix has unexpectedly been removed from its original production based on Marvel characters such as The Punisher, Daredevil and Jessica Jones.

These Marvel shows are no longer streamed on Netflix as Disney+ has officially claimed their streaming rights. So, head over to Disney+ for a monthly subscription of $7.99 to watch these Marvel series. The good news is Disney Plus’s subscription is cheaper than Netflix’s.

Now back to the startling change, you’ll notice that Netflix’s logo has been scrapped off on the opening credits of six Marvel shows Daredevil, The Defender, Luke Cage, The Punisher, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist. See below in the case of Daredevil:

The same goes for Jessica Jones. In the show's first season episode 2, only a white scribble remains where the phrase, 'A NETFLIX ORIGINAL SERIES' was crafted while the Disney+ logo replaces the supposedly streaming giants'.

Small unannounced changes like this are hilarious to note, but it leaves fans worried that shifting the shows to the family-friendly streaming platform would cause censorship in some way. However, we can attest that nothing is censored as only the streaming services' slogans have been adjusted.
