Born on August 26, 1977, in Ankara, Turkey, Ece Sükan is a multi-talented figure who has left her indelible mark on both the fashion and film industry in Turkey. Daughter to former theater actress Serpin Sükan and business entrepreneur and civil engineer, Ece was raised in an environment that nurtured her creative and artistic pursuits.
Her academic journey started at TED Ankara College, where she completed her elementary, middle, and high school education. Simultaneously, Ece cultivated her passion for the arts, taking piano lessons and attending ballet classes at the Ankara State Opera and Ballet for three years, which also saw her performing in productions for two years. In 1998, she graduated from the Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ) with a degree in psychology. As a student, she also worked as a DJ at a radio station, beginning to mark her presence in the media industry.
Ece ventured into the fashion industry in 1998, competing in the 'Best Model of Turkey' contest, where she secured the third position. Soon after, she moved to Istanbul and began her professional modeling career while also working at Marie Claire. Seeking to expand her knowledge in fashion, Ece moved to New York to live with her brother, Arslan Sükan, and enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Technology to study styling.
The early 2000s saw Ece diving into the world of fashion journalism as a fashion editor for Marie Claire. Her eye for style and innate understanding of fashion trends led her to work as a fashion consultant for Vogue Turkey from 2009 to 2012, and later with Trussardi in Milan. Her love for vintage fashion also led her to establish her boutique 'Ece Sükan Vintage' in Nişantaşı, which she later closed.
In addition to her work in fashion and entertainment, Ece has shown her prowess in writing as well. She contributed to Hürriyet newspaper, capturing details through her lens and sharing them in her column 'Ece's Frame' every Sunday, starting from 2013.

Her on-screen journey began with TV series and movies, including 'Kızım Nerede' (2010), 'Aşk Yakar' (2008), 'Çalınan Ceset' (2004), 'Haziran Gecesi' (2004), 'Avrupa Yakası' (2009), '24 Saat' (2004), and more recently, 'Terzi' (2023) for Netflix. One of her noteworthy appearances includes the Magnum gold ice cream commercial in 2010, where she starred alongside Puerto Rican actor Benicio Del Toro.
