According to both the Bloomberg Billionaires Index and the Forbes real-time billionaires list, Elon Musk is the richest individual in the world, with an estimated net worth of over US$221 billion as of March 2022.

The multi-billionaire is the CEO and Chief Engineer of SpaceX, a Tesla, Inc. early-stage investor, the founder of The Boring Company, and a co-founder of Neuralink and OpenAI. He is also the CEO and Product Architect of Tesla, Inc.

He started from nothing and has shown himself; he has achieved a significant amount in his life. Elon had a lot of difficulties as a child. He stated he was bullied as a kid and never actually had a girlfriend. However, it appears that things have changed now.

Now that we all know a great deal about Elon Musk, let’s take a look at his dating history which is somewhat complicated. Here is a list of Elon Musk's spouses and girlfriends along with some basic information about them.

1. Justine Wilson/Musk (2000-2008)

Canadian novelist Justine Musk, formerly Justine Wilson, who wrote the contemporary fantasy books BloodAngel and Lord of Bones, was Musk's first spouse. Elon encountered Justine while both were students at Queen’s University. They got married in 2000.

Nevada, their first son, was born in 2002, but at just 10 weeks old, he passed away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Using in vitro fertilization, she gave birth to triplets Damian, Saxon, and Kai in 2006 after having twin sons Griffin and Xavier in 2004. Musk has a total of 5 kids with Justine.

Justine announced that she and Musk were divorcing on September 13, 2008. Justine and Musk share joint custody of their kids. In 2010, she declared herself to be a 'model ex-wife' and that she was friendly with Talulah Riley, Elon's then-wife.

2. Talulah Riley (2010-2012/2013-2016)

Actress Talulah Riley was born in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. She is the only child of Una Riley, the founder of a security systems company, and Doug Milburn, a former head of the National Crime Squad.

Riley has made appearances in films including Pride and Prejudice, St. Trinian's and St. Trinian's 2, The Boat That Rocked, and Inception. Westworld, an HBO Western science fiction series, also featured Riley as Angela.

Musk started dating the English actress in 2008, six weeks after he filed for divorce from Justine. The pair married in Dornoch Cathedral in Scotland in 2010.

Musk terminated his four-year relationship with Riley in January 2012 and filed for divorce in March 2012 but reconciled and remarried in 2013.  They lived together once again with Musk’s five children from his first marriage to author Justine Musk.

In December 2014, Elon sought a second divorce from Riley, but the case was abandoned. After six months of living apart, Riley filed for a second divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court on March 21, 2016. Finalization of the divorce occurred in October 2016.

3. Amber Heard (2017) (Girlfriend)

Musk reportedly courted Amber Heard in 2012 and dated her for several months in 2017. Later, Johnny Depp claimed that Musk had an affair with Heard while she was still legally wed to Depp. Heard and Musk both rejected their romance.

4. Grimes (2018-2021) (Girlfriend)

Grimes is the stage name of Canadian singer, songwriter, and record producer Claire Elise Boucher. Her music has elements of many genres, including feminist and science fiction themes, as well as dream pop, electronic, R&B, and hip hop. She has released five studio albums.

Musk started dating musician Grimes in April of 2018, according to an exclusive story by Page Six. This was one month before the pair made their red carpet premiere at the Met Gala. At the time, they first connected online after Musk learned Grimes had already made the 'Roko's Basilisk' joke he had intended to tweet.

Breakup rumors started to circulate in the fall of 2018, when Musk and Grimes unfollowed one another on Twitter after rapper Azealia Banks said that she had been waiting for Grimes to arrive to visit the billionaire's Los Angeles compound so they could collaborate on music. However, Grimes affirmed that she was still seeing Musk.

Grimes gave birth to a boy named 'X A-12' in May 2020. In order to comply with California law, Musk and Grimes eventually changed their son's name to 'X A-XII'.

After three years of dating, the pair announced their separation on social media, with Musk stating that they are 'semi-separated' but still on good terms and co-parenting their 1-year-old son. The reason for the break-up is due to Musk's obligations at SpaceX and Tesla, which need him to be in Texas or elsewhere for the majority of the time, and Grimes' singing obligations, which require her to be in Los Angeles.

After speculations surfaced that he was seeing Australian actress Natasha Bassett, Grimes confirmed the couple were back together in her Vanity Fair cover story published in March 2022. She also disclosed that in December 2021, she secretly had a baby girl by surrogate named Exa Dark Siderael Musk. She revealed that they had broken up again a few hours after the story was published.

5. Shivon Zilis (2022) (Girlfriend)

Shivon Zilis is the director of operations and special projects at Musk's Neuralink business. There were rumors that the two were dating and had a serious relationship that led to the birth of twins by Musk and Zilis which was quietly announced in July 2022. According to The Insider, Elon Musk fathered the twins just a few weeks before having a second child with Claire Boucher (Grime).

The couple requested that their newborns 'have their father's last name and have their mother's last name as part of their middle name,' according to court documents acquired by Business Insider. A judge reportedly granted the request in May 2022.

5. Natasha Bassett (Current) (Girlfriend)

Musk is now rumored to be dating Australian actress Natasha Bassett in early 2022. Natasha Bassett is an actress, screenwriter, and director from Australia. Bassett was raised in the Australian city of Sydney. Bassett gained fame for playing Britney Spears in the film Britney Ever After. 

The 27-year-old Australian actress admitted that she was more attracted to Musk's intellect than 'his money balance.' The only time Natasha and Elon became romantically involved was after he broke up with Grimes.
