One of the first things we look for during air travel is comfort.

As you can appreciate, being comfortable is extremely important.

For this reason, the advice of flight attendants is crucial.

This time, a flight attendant named Andrea shared what clothing should not be worn on a plane. She started by saying, 'You should try to be as comfortable as possible to prevent cramps, swelling, or any other discomfort later on.' In other words, clothing choice is very important.

It is quite normal to feel bloated during or after a flight due to changes in air pressure and water retention.

Therefore, stretchy fabrics and lightweight clothing can be our best friends during travel. Additionally, remaining inactive for long periods on a plane can increase the risk of blood clots (deep vein thrombosis). 'It's very important to be able to move around a bit in your seat and keep your blood circulation going,' Andrea says, adding: 'As stylish as they may be, leather pants might not be a good option.'

Andrea mentioned that she personally prefers long-sleeved shirts and long pants, warning,

'Going down emergency slides can hurt otherwise.' She explained, 'The more you cover your skin, the better you protect your internal organs.' 'At best, planes are usually cold, so at least you can keep warm.'

"I see someone almost every flight wearing hardly any clothes: short t-shirts and shorts, sports bras and leggings, swimsuits and shorts, etc."

She suggested that passengers keep spare clothes for emergencies.

"For safety reasons, I absolutely recommend against wearing high heels or flip-flops."

' If there's an emergency evacuation and you need to use the slides, you'll have to take off your high heels because they can puncture the slides. Who knows where and under what conditions you might land? Plus, they’re not very practical when running from door to door.' Andrea also thinks that products made entirely of polyester should be avoided for flights, as there could be a fire hazard.
