A few days ago, a heist worthy of a movie scene occurred at the Louvre, one of the most visited museums in the world. Four thieves managed to infiltrate the museum by using a freight elevator on an outside truck. After breaking a window and entering the renowned Apollo Gallery, where the royal jewels are exhibited, the thieves vanished within minutes. Subsequent investigations revealed that approximately 88 million euros worth of artwork and jewelry had disappeared. The heist sent shockwaves throughout both France and the art world.
As you may know, it was discovered that the thieves had scaled a ladder to gain access to the museum. Footage of their swift robbery and subsequent escape has now surfaced.
