Fortnite: No-build mode to stay forever

Fortnite data miners are convinced that an all battle, no building mode is here to stay.

According to Epic Games, the absence of building is a limited-time deal and the usual game modes will eventually continue. However, Epic simply cannot ignore the number of players that returned to the game due to this feature despite the presence of negative responses of long-time players due to the drastic changes.

According to Twitter user and dataminer Twea (via GamingBible), Fortnite is most likely going to keep the feature as a separate game mode once the event ends.

Twea added that the game mode will be called “Solo - No Build Battle Royale,” that would be available in solo, duo, trio and squad queues. The topic has become a long discussion over reddit.

“I'm one of the people coming back after years. My only skins are from Seasons 1 and 2. No building has been insanely fun for me and has been a super refreshing break from other BRs that I've gotten tired of. I don't personally like building and it's been the main thing that has driven me away, but this has been AWESOME for me.” a reddit user said.

“I totally believe Epic originally intended for no build to only last nine days or so... I don't think they counted on the overwhelming positive response to no build and even players who haven't played in months (or even years) returning to Fortnite. That is a HUGE deal. I don't see them walking that back now...it could even become the core mode. Look at how BR took over STW.”  another user said.

Fortnite is yet to officially announce, but for the meantime player’s responses are divided.
