Renowned British actor Gary Oldman, known for his versatile acting skills, had portrayed the character Sirius Black in the globally acclaimed Harry Potter series as Harry's godfather.

Oldman first graced the screens as Sirius Black in the third installment of the series, "Prisoner of Azkaban."

In this film, Sirius Black was a notorious serial killer who escaped from Azkaban prison.

We later witnessed the portrayal of the Sirius Black character in "Goblet of Fire" and "Order of the Phoenix" films.

Unfortunately, in the fifth film of the series, Black tragically died during a battle at the Ministry of Magic, leaving Harry bereft of his godfather, whom he had only recently found.

A notable confession from Oldman revolved around the most challenging aspect of his role in the Harry Potter series.

In a guest appearance on the 'Happy Sad Confused' podcast, the 65-year-old British actor admitted the scene that proved most difficult while portraying Sirius Black.

Oldman expressed the following in his confession:

 'The scene I struggled with the most while playing Sirius Black was in 'Prisoner of Azkaban,' where Dementors are sucking out my soul, and I'm lying face down by a frozen lake. Lying motionless in the cold for an extended period really physically discomforted me.'

Oldman added, "In that scene, I was sort of dead, and my soul was leaving my body. I had to lie by the frozen lake for a week during the shoot. It was really challenging."
