With Elden Ring continuing to make waves in the gaming world through its Shadow of Erdtree expansion, it seems we are getting closer to a film adaptation. George R.R. Martin, one of the writers behind the game's story, has made some promising comments about the Elden Ring movie.

As Hollywood increasingly turns its attention to the world of video games, evidence suggesting that the next film adaptation could be Elden Ring is growing stronger.

Speaking to The Guardian, Hidetaka Miyazaki stated that he sees no reason to reject a film adaptation of Elden Ring but mentioned that he or FromSoftware might be insufficient to produce a project of this scale, thereby necessitating a strong partnership.

Another green light for an Elden Ring film came from the famous writer George R.R. Martin, who has left his mark on the game's story.

In a post on his personal blog, the well-known author, familiar to us from Game of Thrones, wrote, 'Oh, and about the rumors you may have heard regarding a movie or television series based on Elden Ring... I have nothing to say. Not a word, no, nothing at all, you didn't hear anything from me, nope nope nope. What rumors?' indicating that a possible Elden Ring adaptation might actually be closer than we think.
