Ginny Weasley Actress Reveals Her Biggest Complaint About the Harry Potter Series

Bonnie Wright, known for playing Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter films, has opened up about a major frustration with her role. In an interview with Variety, Wright expressed disappointment over her limited screen time and shared her hopes for the upcoming Harry Potter series reboot. Here's what she had to say!

HBO announced some exciting news last year that thrilled Harry Potter fans.

A 10-year TV series adaptation of J.K. Rowling's book series is in the works, and it will delve into important stories that were not explored in the original films.

This is something Harry Potter fans have really needed.

The 8-film series, which started with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in 2001 and concluded with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in 2011, packed in a lot of content, but some critical points were left out.

Not only were the fans disappointed by this, but so were the actors.

Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasley in the series, was one of those actors. As fans will know, Ginny, Ron's younger sister, develops a special bond with Harry throughout the series and eventually marries him.

In an interview with Variety, Wright said,

'The books beautifully portrayed the development of their relationship, but the films skipped over it. My screen time in the movies was very short. It would have been great if each film was 5 hours long. There are so many crucial moments in the development of Ginny and Harry's bond. I hope the series includes much more of that connection.'
