GTA 5 gets new GTA+ subscription, fans infuriated

GTA 5 has been continually entertaining us for about almost 9 years already. One feature of the game that still makes it popular is the GTA Online feature, which is the multiplayer version of the game. For years, Rockstar Games has been providing in-game purchases in GTA Online, such as Shark Game Cards, allowing players to buy anything they desire in the game with no effort.

Recently, Rockstar Games has just released a subscription called GTA+ which provides monthly benefits to players who don’t want to grind everyday in the game. The subscription costs $5.99 monthly. The subscription is exclusive only to those who own the PS5 and the Xbox Series X remastered version of GTA Online. It provides players with GTA $500,000 monthly, and also huge discounts on vehicle customization and upgrades.

More information about the subscription can be found on Rockstar Games' page.

Players and fans are now enraged by this new addition, as they have grown tired of the game's constant addition of purchasable content. They are also upset with Rockstar Games, accusing them of making 'illogical' changes to the game, such as releasing a next-generation version.

Here, you can see the reaction of fans regarding the new service.
