This month marks the 20th anniversary of the release of 'Catwoman.' The film's lead, Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry, made a confession that took us back to those years.
'The idea of Catwoman, who transforms into a superhero, saving women from face cream seemed too simplistic to me. But at that time, I couldn't refuse the role. I couldn't stand up and challenge it. I didn't like the criticism at all. I went and accepted those awards and moved on. It didn't deter me from my acting career. As a black woman, I have struggled with these issues my entire life. In fact, this role changed me a lot. Thanks to this film, I became a complete cat lover. Now, I am Catwoman through and through.'
