HBO Max Adopts ‘Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin’ Season One as an Original Series

Get set liars! Another Pretty Little Liars offshoot, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin is coming to HBO Max and you can’t afford to this it on your must-watch list. HBO Max has decided to get the fans the best content to keep them stuck in their seats all summer and even after.

On May 8th, the series’ co-creator, Robert A-Sacasa confirmed that Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin has finished filming and hinted at its launch date. Aguirre-Sacasa also hinted at the series’ launch date and plot on his main Instagram account.

This series is a descendant of Pretty Little Liars which revolved around Queen Bee Alison DiLaurentis's disappearance. The mother series initially aired in 2010 and ran for seven installments.

The spin-off continues after a tragic sequence of events that almost tore Millwood town apart. In this achievement, a new squad of Little Liars find themselves being a target to ‘A’ who is purposed to make them accountable for their sins as well as those their parents did twenty years ago. Clearly, it’s about to get messy in here!

The dark, horror-tinged, coming-of-age drama is written by Robert Aguirre-Sacasa of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Riverdale. Aguirre-Sacasa also serves as the chief producer alongside Marlene King, Gina Girolamo, Leslie Morgenstein, Caroline Baron, and Michael Grassi.

The series stars Miai Reficco (Noa Olivar), Zaria (Faran Bryant), Maria Pyles (Mouse Honrada), Chandler Kinney (Tabby Haworthe), and Bailey Madison (Imogen Adams) as the Original Sin’s titular Little Liars

Other characters include Alex Aiono (Shawn), Eric Johnson (Sheriff Beasley), Lea Salonga (Elodie), Elena Goode (Marjorie), Sharon Leal (Sidney), and Mallory Bechtel (Kelly Beasley).

Jordan Gonzalez, Carson Rowland, Carly Pope, Zakiya Young, Derek Klena, Jeniffer Ferrin, and Kate J. Grant are also present in the series.
