He deliberately parked his car on the street, entering through the side door. About half an hour later, a red car pulled up. A woman, roughly the same age as Amy, got out and swiftly entered the house through the same door. The night was still, void of any activity until 1:30 in the morning.
The pair emerged from the house together. The detective's photo clearly showed the man escorting the woman to his car, his arm wrapped around her waist. Thus, this was not a case of an 'innocent meeting' by any means.
The young woman was overwhelmed by tears, forced to take a break from the broadcast. When she returned to the show the next day, she dropped the real bombshell. The woman in the photograph was her closest friend, someone who had been in her life since high school and with whom she had shared every secret.
