Julia Stiles has been slowly making a comeback as a mature star since her teenage hay-days in popular flicks, including 10 Things I Hate About You and Save the Last Dance.
Since her last notable role as a psychologist in the drama film Hustlers starring Jennifer Lopez, Stiles sets to lead the comedy series The Lake, whose first episode premieres on June 17 2022, on Prime Video. The Lake is Amazon's pioneer original series from Canada, written by Julian Doucet.
The series follows Justin, who returns from abroad after breaking up with his long-term partner. His next plan is to connect with his teenage daughter, whom he gave up for adoption and make new memories together at the family house.
However, his outlines go awry when he discovers that his parents left the house to his porcelain step sister Maisy-May.
