As HBO's popular series House of the Dragon returns for its second season, Olivia Cooke, who plays Alicent Hightower, has made some surprising revelations about her experiences filming sex scenes. Let's dive into the details of what she had to say and the intriguing incident she shared.

House of the Dragon, which brings to the screen the events before the Game of Thrones series, is among HBO's most popular productions.

So much so that it is currently the most talked-about series on social media.

The first episode of the second season of the series aired this week and received mixed reviews from viewers.

Some liked the episode, while others did not.

So what happened during the filming of the series?

According to Independent, House of the Dragon star Olivia Cooke made striking statements about the intimate scenes in the series.

The famous actress, who plays Alicent Hightower, said about the sex scenes,

'It's great to have an intimacy coordinator on set. They tell the directors what we are and aren't comfortable with. They protect us in awkward situations. We were shooting a sex scene on set, and my intimacy coordinator came up to me and said, 'Olivia, can you arch your back a bit more and look a bit more engaged?' At that moment, I was thinking of standing in a completely different way.'

Emilia Clarke, who played Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, said in a program she attended in 2019 that she found the amount of nudity in the series too much.

Olivia Cooke, on the other hand, signaled that this amount might increase in House of the Dragon.
