The movie 'Deadpool & Wolverine,' based on Marvel Comics characters, is set to hit theaters on July 26.

Directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, the film is the 34th installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and a sequel to 'Deadpool' (2016) and 'Deadpool 2' (2018).

The film's 55-year-old lead, Hugh Jackman, recently admitted the difficulties he faced in portraying his Marvel character in the upcoming release.

According to a report by Independent, while promoting 'Deadpool & Wolverine,' Jackman told People:

'I'm very excited about the film. But the diet I had to follow to portray my character was exhausting. I know dieting is good for my brain and body, but eating was tough because I had to consume so much. I'm naturally a skinny person, and bulking up for the role was really challenging.'

During the promotion, Reynolds shared:

'I'm amazed at the determination Jackman showed during the physically demanding scenes for 'Deadpool & Wolverine.' He dedicated himself fantastically to dangerous and action-packed scenes. We don't care that he's 55 years old. He's like lightning.'
