Hulu Unveils the Official Trailer for Rom-Com Film 'The Valet'

The Valet is an upcoming rom-com film starring Eugenio Derbez and Samara Weaving as an unlikely and hilarious couple forced into the limelight by circumstances.

Hulu released the movie’s trailer on May 2, with the tagline, ‘The fish out of water romantic comedy where two worlds and cultures collide as both Antonio (Eugenio Derbez) and Olivia (Samara Weaving) start to see themselves more clearly than ever before.'

Famous actress Olivia Allan almost faces career jeopardy when the press takes photos of her with married lover Vincent Royce (Max Greenfield). The devoted parking valet Antonio also appears in the captures, prompting Olivia to enlist him as her boyfriend as a cover-up and salvage her reputation before her new movie debuts.

The light-hearted Spanish communal lifestyle depicted by Antonio's family will make your day.

Joining the trio stars already mentioned is Betsy Brandt as Kathryn Royce, Carmen Salinas as Cecilia, Amaury Nolasco as Benny, Marisol Nichols as Isabel, Diany Rodriguez as Natalie, Tiana Okoye as Amanda, John Pirruccello as Stegman, Ravi Patel as Kapoor and Noemi Gonzalez as Clara.

The Valet is an English language re-adaptation of the French version of the same name released in 2007, except in the previous film, the guy, a wealthy tycoon, is the one in Olivia's shoes, facing PR disaster when the paparazzi take snaps of him with his long-time mistress.

The Valet is produced by Ben Odell and directed by Richard Wong. The screenwriters are Bob Fischer, Samara Weaving and Rob Greenberg.

The Hulu original film debuts on Friday, May 20, via the streaming platform in the U.S., while Disney+ makes an international release the same day.
