Equipped with an AI language model that enables her to communicate with cameras and humans, as well as write poetry, Ai-Da said of her artwork:

'With my artwork on Alan Turing, I honor his contributions and achievements in computing and AI development.'

The eerie painting, which is over 7 meters long, pays homage to Turing's legacy.

Michael Bouhanna, head of Sotheby’s NFT and digital art department, told The Post on Wednesday, "Ai-Da’s portrait joins a selection of cutting-edge works pushing the boundaries of artistic creation today."

Designed in human form, Ai-Da features a chic bob haircut, a jumpsuit, robotic arms, and a realistic face.

She was created as a performance artist, designer, and poet. However, Ai-Da cannot walk, and her creators emphasize that she does not possess consciousness.
