‘Killing Eve’ Ends Forever, All Four Seasons Available For Purchase

On April 10th, the final episode of Killing Eve aired on BBC One, concluding its most critically panned season. Though ending on the worst season is not an ideal situation for anyone involved, the legacy of the series lives on thanks to a knockout first season. Performances from lead actresses Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer always received praise, so if that’s enough to convince you, you can easily stream most of the series online right now.

A British intelligence officer and an elusive assassin square off in a game of cat and mouse sparked by a mutual fascination for each other.

  • Sandra Oh - Eve

  • Jodie Comer - Villanelle

  • Fiona Shaw

  • Kim Bodnia

  • Camille Cottin

  • Anjana Vasan

  • Ingvar Sigurdsson

The double-length finale put the final nail in the coffin for Killing Eve, killing off everyone and pretty much ending the only way that made sense. The flaw was how improperly it all was tied together. Having four showrunners in four seasons means only a slight trickling down of the original intention of the show, and the newest appointee Laura Neal decides to end things with a bleak and fundamentally pointless message. Eve and Villanelle end the series in the place that fans anticipated, but the execution here makes it unsatisfying. If you’ve stuck around this long, the proceedings might be enough to tough it out to see this conclusion but be forewarned that this is the worst season of Killing Eve.

Rating: 6/10

★★★★★★☆☆☆☆

The first three seasons are on Hulu, so it’s likely that the fourth season will appear there as well. Aside from purchasing episodes or watching through DirecTV, Season 4 seems like it can also be viewed using the AMC+ add-on through Amazon Prime Video.

Happy streaming, especially for the great first season!
