According to information reported by the site Son Haber, a large-scale IPTV operation was carried out in Italy after nearly two years of investigations involving authorities from Croatia, the Netherlands, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

The operation dismantled an IPTV system that generated a monthly income of €250 million and was used across many European countries.

The economic damage caused by the IPTV system to copyright holders was estimated at €10 billion. During the operation coordinated by Eurojust, the European Union's judicial cooperation agency, a total of 11 individuals residing in Croatia were arrested.
