The studio album 'Expensive Pain' was released by the rapper last year, peaking at number three in US charts, but it has been some time since Mill has dropped a mixtape.
Mill's commercial tape, 'DC4,' was released in 2016, also peaking at third in the charts, and before that 2013's 'Dreamchasers 3,' was the most recent mixtape released by Meek.
In total the hip hop star has released 10 mixtapes throughout his career, beginning with 'The Real Me,' tapes one and two in 2006.
The 'Flamers' series and 'Dreamchasers' series of tapes along with Mr. Philadelphia in 2010 saw the rapper continue his free releases.
The Philly rapper is due to play a special homecoming show at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday 26th November as part of Thanksgiving celebrations weekend
The show will mark the 10th anniversary of Meek Mill's 'Dreams and Nightmares,' debut album, where the artist will surely perform some of the new tracks from his upcoming mixtape too.
'Dreams & Nightmares' was released in October of 2012 to much success.
The studio album debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200 music charts after it sold 165.000 unites in its first week.
The project boasted a number of features from top rappers, including Drake, Mary J. Blige and Rick Ross.
The song 'Amen,' featuring Drake was awarded gold status by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
The RIAA also deemed the intro track to the album, 'Dreams and Nightmares,' as a platinum record thanks to its stellar sales.
