Netflix Releases an American Drama Film ‘Leave No Trace’ in July – Release Date and More!

A parent with post-traumatic stress disorder who served in the military and now resides in the bush with his little daughter, ‘Leave No Trace’ is a 2018 American drama film directed by Debra Granik and written by Granik and Anne Rosellini. It is an adaptation of the 2009 novel My Abandonment by Peter Rock which is based on a true story.

On June 29, 2018, Bleecker Street distributed it in theaters in the United States after its Sundance 2018 premiere.

The movie received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics, garnering accolades for Foster and McKenzie's performances. It also has the most reviews of any movie with a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score.

Will (Ben Foster) and Tom (Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie), a father and daughter, lead a flawless but enigmatic life in Forest Park, a stunning nature preserve close to Portland, Oregon, for many years, without interacting with the outside world. They are forced to embark on an increasingly unpredictable journey in search of a location to call their own, though, after a little error alerts authorities.
