This new Netflix release is based on the book by A.J. Finn, and it stars two great actresses: Amy Adams and Julianne Moore.
The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window is a story about voyeurism, murder, and friendship. Anna watches her neighbors through her window for hours at a time, making up stories about their lives to make herself feel less lonely.
One day she witnesses something she shouldn’t have seen, so she becomes involved with the neighbor she was spying on – then things take a turn for the worse.
While this movie sounds like it will be creepy and suspenseful, it also has a bit of humor, which makes people think of Miss Congeniality, another movie starring Moore (and Sandra Bullock). This film will probably be similar to Miss Congeniality in that sense.
