Netflix’s New Animated Movie ‘Riverdance: The Animated Adventure’ Stars Pierce Brosnan

Patrick, King of the Megaloceros Giganteus, is no less than the most admired sleek agent of all time ‘James Bond 007’ himself, Pierce Brosnan.

Being one of the legendary James Bond of the 007 thread of movies, he has an image of a serious, ‘man of few words’ type of guy who has been fantasized and swooned by every woman.

For his avid fans, Riverdance unveils the new side of him wherein he had showcased his versatility as an actor. Aside from ‘Patrick’s vocals’, Brosnan also voices Keegan’s Grandpa, the town’s lighthouse operator.

‘Riverdance: The Animated Adventure’ is a story of a young boy named Keegan who idolized his grandfather who was once a champion hurler and remains a fabulous Irish dancer even if his bones are a bit creaky. Grandpa worked as the town’s lighthouse operator, since each night his light wards off the darkness that creeps in from another world and manifests in the form of the shrewd, brutish Huntsman.

When Grandpa passed away, he went through phases of anger and frustration he once shared with his grandfather. Keegan let slip of his grandfather’s advice - keep the light in the lighthouse lit every night. According to an old Irish legend, the Huntsman would return on a dark night to steal the antlers on the magical deer, whose powers and dance keep the rivers of Ireland flowing.

‘Riverdance: The Animated Adventure’ has just started streaming two days ago, January 14, 2022, yet has taken the 8th seat in the Top Ten list of most-watched animated films.
