Made by David Schulner, this movie commences with the appointment of Dr Max Goodwin, who plays a medical director of New Amsterdam Hospital. The hospital is quite old and has gained positive reputability throughout the USA until bureaucracy and neglect destroyed it.
New Amsterdam Hospital is not meeting peoples' expectations anymore. Dr Goodwin is on a mission to bring back its glory by killing the bureaucracy. His main goal is to make New Amsterdam Hospital a safe place for patients from all backgrounds.
A lot is happening in this first season; it's evident that the drama doesn't reach an end. Thus, there are three more seasons to expect in this series. Let's hope it's soon.
