Paramount+ Delivers Its Promise With a New Miniseries- ‘The Offer’

After revealing to be working on a new piece in the making of The Godfather, Paramount Plus finally fulfils its words with the most anticipated miniseries, The Offer.

The film consists of several hours of original content majoring on the experiences of producer Albert Ruddy, portrayed by Miles Teller, a two times Oscar champion. Rudy is also the producer of the show.

The Offer shows the events transpiring as Ruddy works on Mario Puzo’s book administered by Francis F. Coppola, 1972. The book talks about an Italian-American gang family fighting with other Mafioso and within itself.

The miniseries faced a lot of obstacles at its infancy stage. To begin with, the Italian-Americans, especially the Mafia, were greatly angered by Puzo’s book. On Ruddy’s report, the gang pressurized the production, created contracts between the actors and the production, and typically wanted the movie to wither down.

Starring in the series is Dan Fogler, playing director Francis F. Coppola and Miles Teller (Rocketman) portrays producer Albert Ruddy overseeing several film episodes. Juno Temple depicts Ruddy’s assistant Bettye McCartt and Matthew Goode as the Paramount Studios’ executive, Robert Evans.

The Offer was made and compiled by Michael Tolkien of Ray Donovan, Deep Impact, and Changing Lanes with the help of Bates Motel’s Nikki Toscano as the showrunner and co-writer.

Giovanni Ribisi is the renowned gangster Joe Colombo who headed the campaign against the film’s success in favor of the Italian-Americans. Burn Gorman and Colin Hanks enact the studio executives.

The Offer arrives on Thursday, April 28th, via Paramount Plus, with its first three episodes. Every week, the seven subsequent episodes will air, one at a time, to mark the end of The Offer season one.
