Period Drama Series ‘Outlander’ Season 5 Confirms To Arrive On Netflix In May

With the premiere of Outlander Season 6 on Starz and Netflix (in some territories), fans are wondering when Season 5 will be available on Netflix in the United States and other regions.

Since its premiere in 2014, the romantic fantasy drama based on Diana Gabaldon's bestselling book series has captivated many viewers with the story of Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan).

It was confirmed by Netflix that ‘Outlander’ season 5 will start streaming on Netflix US on May 10th, 2022, just days after season 6 wraps on Starz.

Claire is a World War II combat nurse living in the 1940s when she finds herself magically transported back in time to 18th-century Scotland.

There, she meets handsome Highlander Jamie and their connection ignites sparks that have become legendary among fans. In the show’s fifth season, the Frasers continue their lives amid simmering revolutionary tensions in North Carolina and face new threats.

Along with Balfe and Heughan, Season 5 stars Sophie Skelton, Richard Rankin, Lauren Lyle, César Domboy, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Duncan Lacroix, John Bell, and Caitlin O’Ryan among many others. 

The drama's sixth season is now showing on Starz and will end on Sunday, May 1.

Season 7 of the hit show is currently in production on location in Scotland, continuing the narrative of the Fraser family. Season 5 of Outlander will premiere on Netflix in May, and Seasons 1 through 4 are currently available to view on the platform.
