Sneak Peak Of The Story
A mysterious billionaire Virgil Davenport (Martin Donovan) hires Dan Turner (Mamoudou Athie) who is a film restoration expert to restore a collection of videos damaged in a deadly 1990s NYC apartment building fire. With the flourishing offer, Dan accepts it.
Dan moves to the abandoned facility upstates Davenport where the savaged cassettes are stored. It’s a creepy ’80s-era compound with no internet or cell signal and filled with locked rooms and empty corridors.
He finds himself reconstructing the work of documentary filmmaker Melody Pendras (Dina Shihabi) and her investigation into a dangerous cult. As Dan is drawn into Melody’s story, he becomes convinced he can save her from the terrifying end she met 25 years ago.
