Prime Video Shares Critical Role’s ‘The Legend of Vox Machina’ Season Two Trailer

The long wait is finally over as Amazon Prime Video finally drops the official trailer for The Legend of Vox Machina season two. The show debuted on the streamer in January 2022, with the first twelve-episode season.

The Legend of Vox Machina is an animated action-adventure and comedy fantasy series created by Critical Role for Prime Video. Season one managed an incredible performance, revealed through a 100% average Tomatometer (alongside a 93% average audience score) on Rotten Tomatoes and 8.4/10 stars on IMDb.

Unlike many shows, The Legend of Vox Machina received its second season renewal in November 2019, even before the first one had launched.

The Legend of Vox Machina is set in Exandria (a fictional world of the Critical Role web series) in 2012 in the game Dungeons and Dragons.

The Critical Role team later started a campaign to transform the game idea into a TV project, leading to the development of The Legend of Vox Machina season one.

The show sees some possible outlaws transformed into warriors to protect the kingdom against the most significant threats it has ever witnessed.

Amazon Prime Video shared the official trailer for The Legend of Vox Machina via its YouTube Channel, running for 2 minutes and 17 seconds.

The trailer glances at the Vox Machina crew under attack by four dragons. Clearly, the upcoming season will have more fights than its predecessor.

The Legend of Vox Machina is a creation of Critical Role, with chief producers Ben Kalina, Shannon Prynoski, Marisha Ray, Liam O’Brien, Matthew Mercer, Ashley Johnson, and Taliesin Jaffe.

Other top producers are Laura Bailey, Brandon Auman, Travis Willingham, Sam Riegel, and Chris Prynoski.

Amazon Studios, Titmouse, Inc., and Critical Role Productions made the show to Amazon Prime Video.

The Legend of Vox Machina season two brings back titular voices of Laura Bailey (Vex), Taliesin Jaffe (Percy), Ashley Johnson (Pike), Matthew Mercer (Trinket), Travis Willingham (Grog), Sam Riegel (Scanlan), Marisha Ray (Keyleth), and Liam O’Brien (Vax).

Season two of The Legend of Vox Machina debuts on Friday, January 20, 2023, with three episodes weekly until February 10.
